Last summer HSOC took part in the annual Tour de Burren. Pictured are some of the HSOC Team.
The team got to see and experience the breath taking landscape this event has to offer along the 96km route in the Heart of the Burren. A few of the braver souls completed the 160km route The Burnin Burren and indeed got those legs burning.
From the starting line to the finish line the craic was mighty, facing some steep climbs along the way, stopping in Lisdoonvarna to refuel and taking in the beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way at the Cliffs of Moher. The weather was fantastic and even the supporters came out in force. The team were a bit disappointed though that there was no offer of an oul cup of tea from Mrs Doyle!
