Karen joined HSOC in 2006 as Customer Service Manager. In addition to managing existing client relationships she also handles new client enquiries. Karen provides support to the Partners and Senior Management.
Prior to joining HSOC Karen worked in Event Management for 5 years.
Karen recently received a Merit in Fetac Level 5 Course in Criminology.
Alison joined HSOC in 2002 where she works in the Financial Services Department, providing asset management services to clients.
Prior to joining HSOC she worked in London for ten years in the Financial Services Industry.
Alison was instrumental in establishing the financial services compliance standards and procedures within HSOC.
Alison is a qualified QFA and a member of the LIA. She is currently studying for a Professional Diploma in Retirement Planning Advice.
Pat joined the Financial Services Department at HSOC in 2014, having taken early retirement from Aviva Life and Pensions after more than thirty years service.
He has vast experience in the pensions industry, as most of his career was spent as a Consultant to the country’s leading corporate and individual pension advisors.
Pat is a member of the Insurance Institute, a Qualified Financial Advisor and an Aviva Trustee.
Marie is a member of the Institute of Accounting Technicians Ireland since 1997 and IPASS Payroll since 2001. She has been involved with payroll and bookkeeping since the early 1980’s, and has amassed a vast knowledge and technical expertise in both of these areas.
Marie joined HSOC in 2001, since then she has helped raise the profile of the Payroll & Bookkeeping department, and has been instrumental in making it an integral part of the practice.
Clients demand different approaches and different software packages to be used to suit their own circumstances. Marie has a proven ability, to adapt to any new package that is required in her role as Manager in the Payroll & Bookkeeping department. Marie’s clients cover a broad range of industries, including fast food franchises, construction, hotels and medical practices.
Yvonne joined the Bookkeeping Department of HSOC in September 2017, and is in the process of completing her Accounting Technician's qualification. Yvonne has a Degree in English, Media & Cultural Studies from Dun Laoghaire IADT.
Eiffel joined HSOC in 2014 as a Tax Trainee. In October 2016, Eiffel qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor. She holds an Honours Degree in Accounting Finance from Dublin Business School , and Masters of Accounting from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
Among Eiffel’s responsibilities are the preparation of personal income tax returns, advising on payroll issues relating to BIK and obtaining tax registrations for both individuals and corporate clients.
Lorraine joined HSOC in July 2015 after completing a course in Digital Humanities. Lorraine is currently working in the Payroll & Bookkeeping department and is in the process of completing her IPASS qualification.
Eileen joined HSOC in June 2017. She is a member of ACCA, and continues her studies to date. While coming from a varied background, she mainly focused her career on Payroll. Eileen previously worked on Ryanair., The Quinn Group & Radisson SAS payrolls. Eileen also studied business in GCD, and is a certified IPASS technician. Eileen has a responsibility for a portfolio of clients in our payroll department.
Robert has been a member of the Accounting Department since 1998. His specialty lies in the preparation of accounts for non-audit companies’, sole trader’s and property management companies.
Robert holds a fellowship with the Accounting Technicians Ireland.
John is a qualified Accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland, having previously obtained a Bachelor of Business (Honours) Degree from Tralee Institute of Technology.
John began his accounting career with Peevers Slye Cotter in Kerry. Having completed his training contract and CPA exams, John moved to Westboro Partners and O'Connor Pyne & Co Limited in Cork, where he worked for a number of years.
In October 2014 John joined HSOC.
From his previous employments and studies, John has built up a wealth of knowledge in accountancy, audit and tax from working on clients both large and small from a wide variety of business sectors.
Liam joined the Practice in June 2014 having graduated from Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT) with an MA in Accounting. Prior to this Liam acquired a 2.1 Honours Degree . In June 2016, Liam completed his training contract and ACA exams. He now concentrates on some of the larger audit clients, and has responsibility for a portfolio of clients in construction and related sectors.
Elena graduated from AL I Cuza University, Romania with a BA Degree in Accounting in 2010.
Prior to joining HSOC Elena worked as an administration clerk in Harvey Norman where she gained valuable book keeping experience.
In the Audit Department of HSOC, Elena’s specialty area includes the agri sector.
Keith holds an Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) Degree from NUI Galway University and a Master’s of Arts Degree in Accounting from the Athlone Institute of Technology.
In the Audit Department of HSOC, Keith specialty area includes accounting for Charitable Bodies and the Medical Sector.
Muireann is a graduate of DIT where she studied International Hospitality. During her course, Muireann decided that she wanted to study accountancy and become an auditor, and upon completion of her studies joined HSOC. Muireann provides audit and accounting services to both local and foreign firms.
Tindy started out working as a nurse, having successfully completed a Bachelor of Nursing (Hons) degree in The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Tindy gained experience working in the Oncology Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. After deciding to embark on a career change, Tindy obtained a Distinction in Postgraduate in Accounting from DIT, and joined the firm in August 2015 as an audit trainee. Her hobbies include swimming and playing rugby.
Jessica joined HSOC in August 2016. She has completed a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Accounting & Finance from the Dublin Institute of Technology. Jessica is currently studying for her ACCA qualification.
JM completed a Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Accounting & Finance in the Institute of Technology Tallaght, where she was also the Ambassador of CPA. JM is currently studying towards her ACCA qualification.
Niamh graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) Degree from the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2016. Prior to joining HSOC, Niamh worked as an Administration Assistant in a rendering plant.
Sinead joined HSOC in May 2017. Sinead has completed a Bachelor of Business Studies in the Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown. Whilst studying, Sinead was working in the retail industry, where she decided she wanted to become an Accountant.
Daniel joined HSOC in July 2017. He is a Graduate of NUI Galway, having studied for a Degree in Commerce, and a Masters in Finance. Daniel is currently studying for his ACA qualification.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Business (Hons) Degree, from Independent College Dublin. Prior to joining HSOC, Elizabeth worked as a Mortgage Advisor for two years in Citibank Hong Kong.
